The Advanced Summer Program for Investigation and Research Education (ASPIRE)

The Advanced Summer Program for Investigation and Research Education (ASPIRE) is an opportunity at Washington University-School of Medicine offered to current full-time college Freshmen, Sophomore, or Juniors and college-bound junior and senior high school students. Under the direction of two WU clinician-researchers, Jay Piccirillo, MD and Vicky Fraser, MD, ASPIRE has been created with the purpose of introducing research to young investigators and to further their existing interest in clinical research. The Program includes didactic sessions, seminars and mentored research experience during the six to eight-week scenario.
