Clinical and Translational Research Funding Programs
The Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences (ICTS) supports several internal grant funding programs promoting research in clinical and/or translational science. The Institute especially wants to:
- Encourage interdisciplinary teams of investigators
- Promote interactions between clinical and basic scientists; between investigators from different schools within Washington University and our academic partners as well as different academic departments and disciplines
- Promote research by new investigators and junior faculty
- Support collaborations with community organizations
Just-In-Time Core Usage Program
Monthly open call to provide quick access to funding to use the ICTS Cores for research advancing medical knowledge that can improve human health. Total awarded services may not exceed $10,000 within a 12 month period.
BJHF-ICTS Clinical & Translational Research Funding Program
Annual call for proposals in two categories:
- Planning Grants: Provide up to $25,000 direct costs for 1 year to facilitate the planning of a new clinical or translational research project
- Research Grants: Provide up to $75,000 direct costs per year for 1-2 years to support a clinical or translational research project.
Bander Business Ethics in Medical Research Funding Program
Annual call to promote innovative research that examines an ethical issue arising from the business or financial dimension of medical research.
