Research Education & Information is pleased to offer WU research administrators the opportunity to view webinars presented by the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA). Following this webinar, a special question and answer session will be led by Joe Gindhart, Associate Vice Chancellor for Finance & Sponsored Project, and Martha Jones, Executive Director of the Human Research Protection Office.


 

Webinar Overview

The panelists will provide an overview of the requirements of the NIH Policy on the Use of a Single IRB (sIRB) for Multi-Site Research, which is effective January 25, 2018, and associated guidance, FAQs, and resources. sIRB requirements under the recently revised Federal Policy for the Protection of Human Subjects (Common Rule) will also be discussed.
