Clinical Interests: 1) My clinical interest is in the care and treatment of patients with inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.) 2) My research interest is : – Biologic and serologic factors that predict clinical course/outcome and response to pharmaceutic or surgical treatment – Novel delivery mechanisms for approved pharmaceutic agents used to treat Chon’d disease and ulcerative colitis – Unique disease characteristics and response to treatment in non-white patients – Unique disease characteristics and response to treatment in obese patients
