Dr. Lateef’s research utilizes culturally responsive approaches to inform preventions and interventions with youth populations of African descent. His scholarship explores the relationship between Afrocentric constructs and behavioral health factors among Black adolescents (ages 13-17) and emerging adults (ages 18-29).
