My research seeks to better understanding of the brain’s network level organization and how those networks are affected by epilepsy, brain tumors, and other neurologic conditions. I uses tools like intracranial electrophysiology (iEEG) and functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to measure brain network activity in patients who I treat. I then find ways to translate those results back to clinical practice to improve the care of future neurosurgical patients.
