My research focuses on determining the molecular causes of thyroid and adrenal tumorigenesis and how it relates to diagnosis, treatment, and therapeutic outcomes in thyroid and adrenal cancer. For thyroid cancer, my work primarily focuses on identifying susceptibility events associated with thyroid tumor formation, including genetic, epigenetic, and gene expression alterations. For adrenal cancer, I have examined the role of ion channel dysegulation in adrenal tumor formation.
