Dr. Uner’s research focuses on targeted drug delivery systems for various diseases such as sexually transmitted diseases (HIV, AIDS, syphilis), contraception methods, ocular diseases, rare diseases (Leigh disease and phenylketonuria), and Alzheimer’s disease. These studies involved the Design of Experiment (DoE) applications, development and characterization of novel drug delivery systems, as well as the use of computer simulations (in silico) to study.
