My research program is focused on breast cancer survivorship and the corresponding co-morbid chronic conditions, or risk for those co-morbidities, which survivors must be aware of indefinitely. These conditions include lymphedema, cardiovascular disease, weight gain, pain, and fatigue, factors which can greatly alter a survivor’s quality of life and health outcomes. I am particularly interested in improving care for rural breast cancer survivors who might have disparate access to educational and support resources that could improve their quality of life during survivorship.
