I am interested in neuroplasticity and augmenting recovery following injury from ischemic stroke or subarachnoid hemorrhage. I am implementing vagal nerve stimulation (VNS) in rodent and and animal models to better understand its influence on functional connectivity, neuroplasticity, and clinical outcomes.
