My research interests are two-fold. First, I am interested in better understanding patient report outcomes and how these scores relate to a patient’s overall health and well-being. Similarly, I am interested in investigating the underlying statistical properties of these scores and how they are used in both large clinical studies as well as in individual patient care. Second, I am interested in medical education research and the learning of procedural skills with technologies such as video and virtual reality.
