My research explores how complex acoustic environments are represented in the brain. I am particularly interested in methods to improve individuals’ ability to extract content from acoustic scenes with multiple sources present. To that end we develop technological interventions, from brain-computer interfaces to training software, designed to exploit brain plasticity to enable improved performance in sensory and communication tasks.
