My areas of research interest are are Medical Genetics/Prenatal Diagnosis and Ob/Gyn diagnostic ultrasound and for my administrative role in behavioral/educational administrative research. I am a clinician-scientist and administrator whose primary research focus has been in prenatal diagnosis of fetal disorders and studies of fetal growth. Additional clinical and research interests include prenatal diagnosis for genetic disorders, use of folic acid for the prevention of neural tube defects, and first trimester aneuploidy screening. In recent years my focus has been administering faculty affairs for the School of Medicine, and as associate dean have directed several studies of faculty compensation and gender and racial/ethic equity in the compensation and promotions process. In addition, I have contributed to analysis of faculty work-life satisfaction and in developing resources at a School and University level to provide more flexible work platforms for all faculty.
