My major areas of research are preventive medicine and public health to improve population health. More specifically, my research as focused on risk factor prevention and treatment of infectious and non-communicable diseases, health promotion, optimizing health care and public health service worldwide. Past and current funded research cover all these five research areas through CMS, NIH, NSF, CDC and private funders like RWJS. I am currently funded in research to democratize COVID-19 genome (NSF) and diabetes translational research (NIH/NIDDK).
