Postdoctoral Fellow

University of Missouri – Columbia (MU)

I was trained in an inter-disciplinary doctoral program on language acquisition and approached the study of language impairment from both linguistic and molecular genetic perspectives. My past research used family-based genetic methods to investigate the genetic basis of typical and impaired language acquisition. I am continuing my training in the multidisciplinary environment of the Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders at the University of Missouri-Columbia. My research as a postdoctoral fellow aims to identify early predictors of autism and measure the earliest drivers of developmental differences.
