I am a physician-scientist within the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Washington University in Saint Louis, whose responsibility includes caring for patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions, including patients with COVID respiratory failure. I joined Dr. Haspel’s lab in 2021, with an interest in how the molecular clock and circadian rhythms contribute to respiratory disease. I am particularly interested in how clocks gate lung inflammatory responses and, reciprocally, how chronic inflammation in airway diseases reshape clock expression.
