Clinical Interests: Shoulder and elbow arthroscopic surgery; shoulder instability; throwing shoulder injuries; labral tears and biceps tendon injuries; rotator cuff disease and tears; frozen shoulder syndrome; shoulder and elbow arthritis; shoulder fractures; minimally invasive shoulder fracture fixation; shoulder and elbow joint replacement; reverse shoulder arthroplasty; acromioclavicular and sternoclavicular joint injuries. Research Interests: Research interests include clinical outcome studies of reconstructive shoulder and elbow surgery, including: rotator cuff disease (partial and full thickness rotator cuff tears), shoulder and elbow arthritis, proximal humerus fractures, shoulder tendon transfers and labral/biceps tendon repairs. Other research interests include outcomes of various resident education teaching methods. Basic science interests include biomechanical constructs for arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and shoulder tendon transfers for irreparable rotator cuff injuries.
