My laboratory investigates the pathogenesis of bacterial infection caused by bacterial cytotoxins. Utilizing a combination of bacterial and host genetics, in vitro analyses and in vivo models of disease, we focus on the host-pathogen interaction to define novel targets for disease prevention and therapy.
