I am an environmental epidemiologist whose research focuses on the impacts of policy-driven interventions on environmental exposures and chronic disease in the US and low- and middle-income countries. A special focus of my work is elucidating the role that geography plays in the development and management of chronic disease as well as how geospatial analysis can assist in the identification of geographical barriers and facilitators influencing the implementation and scale-up of public health interventions.
