My research interests include the use of communication strategies to help patients make complex cancer prevention and treatment decisions, through: 1) developing and evaluating communication tools for clinicians to use to involve patients in decisions during the health care visit, and 2) developing and evaluating decision support tools for individuals to use outside of health care visits to make complex decisions about health.
