Currently, my research focuses on precision medicine for dilated cardiomyopathies. This translational project explores the impact of pathogenic LMNA mutations on cardiac function using a combination of complementary technologies, including bioengineered models of cardiac tissues, mouse models of patient-derived mutations and bioinformatic interrogation of human genomic data. Through mechanistic insight, we intend to uncover targets for future therapies for patients with advanced heart failure.
