We focus on the under-studied and emerging class of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in solid tumors. This is accomplished by leveraging our expertise in integrative analysis of large human patient transcriptome data and molecular cell biology to begin to understand the role lncRNAs play in tumor progression in colon and lung cancer.
