The research interest includes pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamic aspects of the drug. I have developed nanomaterial based targeted delivery to tissue of interest especially for cancer and infectious diseases. My research focuses on the development of layer-by-layer technology, Nanocrystal Technology, Solid lipid nanoparticles and Ligand/receptor based targeting. Layer-by-layer technology involves the assembly of multiple layers of nanomaterials with different properties to create a versatile drug delivery system. Nanocrystal Technology involves the use of nanoparticles with a crystalline structure, which can improve drug solubility and bioavailability. Solid lipid nanoparticles use biocompatible lipids to create a stable drug delivery system, while ligand/receptor-based targeting leverages the specific interactions between ligands and receptors to target drugs to specific cells or tissues. In addition to developing these novel delivery systems, I consider the practical aspects of creating cost-effective, patient-friendly, and evidence-based products for industry.
