The Washington University Center for Cellular Imaging (WUCCI) is an imaging technology hub and resource to the WashU medical campus and offers access to cutting edge optical, electron, data analysis and cryogenic electron microscopy tools, comprehensive training and educational opportunities, a sample processing pipeline, and collaborative opportunities with experts in divergent imaging modalities. With the expanded commitment by the School of Medicine in neurobiological research, and the construction of the Neuroscience Research Building (NRB), the WUCCI aims to expand its scope to the application of cutting edge optical modalities to assay neural systems and models of disease. As Assistant Director of the WUCCI, I bring my interests and expertise in dynamic imaging, multiphoton microscopy, lightsheet fluorescence imaging, and tissue processing to the development and management of this new WUCCI-Neuroscience Facility in the NRB.
