My research projects center around flaviviruses, specifically development and improvement of flavivirus vaccines (dengue virus and others) through clinical trials and basic immunologic research, and interactions between the flavivirus GB Virus C and HIV and how GB Virus C inhibits HIV replication in vitro and in vivo.
