The ICTS aims to develop, promote and retain highly qualified and diverse faculty, fellows and students through interdisciplinary programs enabling them to launch successful careers in clinical and translational research. The Clinical Research Training Center centralizes CTSA educational resources and equips researchers regardless of career stage with the tools to become successful independent investigators. Active mentoring, hands-on research experiences, and formal didactic programs in rigorous clinical research methodology encourages investigators to enter the field and creates a continuous pipeline of researchers engaged in the clinical and translational workforce. The ICTS supports the development of strong research teams by providing training opportunities for research professionals involved in the management and implementation of clinical and translational research.

To accomplish this goal, we offer a diverse portfolio of workforce development opportunities to address the training needs of a wide range of learners from staff to students to faculty.
