We use the word “retirement” because we don’t have better language, but we have a better vision in mind for all of us – a new retirement. This seminar focuses on the essential ingredients of a successful transition and a fulfilling next chapter. There is much to think about beyond finances.

We’re inviting Washington University in St. Louis employees to start thinking about their future by participating in Your Next Move: Transitioning to the New Retirement, led by Chris Frey, MSW, ACSW, LCSW, a counselor and an educator with 35 years of experience.This event will include a panel of WashU retirees and offer a variety of resources for ongoing planning

In this seminar, we will focus on:

• The When, Why and What of retirement
• The other critical components of retirement: purpose, leisure, social, health and wellness
• Assessment, planning, seeking information and enlisting support

This event is free and open to all WashU employees, alumni and their spouses/partners, however registration is required.
