My research involves development of novel drug candidates against radiation-inducible neo-antigens. Radiation treatment induces cell-surface expression of intracellular proteins. These surface expressed proteins can then be targeted using peptides and monoclonal antibodies for cancer imaging and therapy. We are actively developing antibody-drug conjugates as radiation sensitizers to enhance the efficacy of radiation therapy. I am also interested in understanding the mechanisms of resistance to cancer therapy.
