The seminar will introduce early-stage drug discovery to the audience of biomedical faculty, describe the speaker’s experience of academic drug discovery and review current trends in the field. The ultimate goal is to pass the message that while early-stage drug discovery requires a significant time and resource commitment, it can be affordable and successful in academia.
