Debbie “Dada” Dada’s research focuses on reducing structural barriers that limit engagement with HIV prevention and treatment services among underserved populations in Sub-Saharan Africa. Through implementation science and community-engaged participatory research, she examines modifiable socio-structural and organizational factors such as stigma, care affordability, homophobia, and other forms of social exclusion and develops implementation strategies that leverage community strengths to address them.
