As a clinical neonatologist caring for preterm and critically ill neonates, I am drawn to translational research that leverages bioinformatics to address gaps in our understanding of neonatal disease. My interests include developing predictive models using real-time clinical and molecular data to enable early diagnosis and personalized interventions. I aim to collaborate with bioinformaticians to build integrative pipelines that connect genomic, transcriptomic, and environmental data, revealing insights into disease mechanisms. Additionally, I am exploring how artificial intelligence can simplify electronic medical records, improving workflow and decision-making in the NICU. The intersection of neonatology, data science, and molecular biology holds tremendous promise for transforming neonatal care. My clinical experience, paired with emerging skills in computational research, uniquely positions me to contribute to this evolving field.
