My primary research interests are centered in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. During my PhD, my work focused on the development of hydrogels modified with integrin binding and growth factor mimicking peptides to encourage osteogenic differentiation. My current work is dedicated to developing consistent differentiation of patient-derived ipsc into endocrine and immune cells in order to more closely model human in vivo endocrine physiology.
