My clinical and research interests center on plastic and reconstructive surgery, with a focus on translational and outcomes-based research that improves surgical decision-making and patient care. I am particularly interested in identifying clinically relevant biomarkers and physiologic factors—such as nutritional and metabolic status—that influence surgical outcomes, wound healing, and recovery. My research experience spans systematic reviews, clinical database studies, and technology-driven projects, including the application of artificial intelligence and computer vision to objectively assess functional and aesthetic outcomes. I am motivated to bridge basic science, clinical research, and innovation to develop evidence-based strategies that optimize reconstructive outcomes and enhance patient quality of life.
