My career is focused on advancing precision diagnostics and therapeutic strategies for myeloid neoplasms. I currently serve as the principal investigator for several clinical trials for myeloid malignancies. I am leading an implementation of whole genome sequencing clinical-grade platform in Latin America, with an emphasis on feasibility, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness in under-resourced settings. I also run clinical trials to improve MRD detection in acute leukemia and I also develop health informatic solutions to streamline clinical and genomic data interpretation. My goal is to bridge clinical care, genomics, and technology to improve outcomes for patients with hematologic malignancies.
