Key to the mission of the ICTS is the health and well-being of our communities. To accomplish that mission, the ICTS is dedicated to engaging the community at all stages of research. We do this by training researchers and community members to work together and providing funding to support and advance these partnerships.
The Center for Community Health Partnership and Research (CCHPR), a joint entity supported by Washington University’s ICTS and the Institute for Public Health (IPH), aims to improve health and wellness in the region by supporting collaborations between community and university partners. It provides a single access point for researchers, community members, and other community stakeholders and serves as the community engagement arm of the ICTS.
