My primary research interest is the application of information to improve clinical care, primarily through informatics and analytics. This includes methods to improve informatics applications, such as maturity models; or expanding the use of information through synthetic data; or developing and architecting systems to support informatics applications. Informatics and data are important tools that can facilitate both individual care decisions and transformation of care delivery systems. My highest priority is applying data, analytics and informatics to actually improve care.
