As a Transplant and Hepato-pancreatico-biliary surgeon, my goal is to provide comprehensive and compassionate surgical care for my patients across the full spectrum of cancers of the liver, pancreas and biliary system. Academically, I am interested in health services research using local and national databases to address important questions that can help address existing disparities is in cancer care, and bridge the gap between surgical and transplantation options for GI malignancies. I am also interested in looking at the safety and feasibility of the newer minimally invasive (robotic and laparoscopic) options in HPB and transplant surgery and develop curricula for teaching these novel technique to surgical residents and fellows.
