My research has four major themes of interest:
1) Understand how B cells contribute to renal injury, primarily through the action of cytokines.
2) Advanced imaging of the kidney using two-photon microscopy and tissue clearing preparations.
3) Genetics of autoimmunity
4) Identification and testing biomarkers in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus.
