My clinical and research interests focus on classical hematology with an emphasis on thrombosis and hemostasis. I am particularly interested in antiphospholipid syndrome, cancer-associated thrombosis and thrombotic microangiopathies —spanning questions of disease mechanisms, risk stratification, and real-world outcomes. My work leverages clinical registries and large administrative and electronic health record datasets to characterize thrombotic and bleeding phenotypes, identify predictors of adverse outcomes, and develop pragmatic, generalizable risk models that can inform patient-centered decisions. I am also interested in translating these findings into prospective studies and therapeutic clinical trials.
