Andreas Herrlich, MD, PhD

Washington University in St. Louis (WU)

The Herrlich laboratory’s primary expertise lies in the study of regulation of cytokine release by ectodomain cleavage and of its cell biological, physiological and pathophysiological consequences. We study regulation of ectodomain cleavage in vitro using various approaches, and also its relevance in human disease, in particular kidney disease and cancer.
