Our lab studies vascular malformation disorders such as Hereditary Hemorrhagic Telangiectasia (HHT). We aim to use molecular genetics, gene editing, cell biology, mechanobiology, and computational biology techniques to 1) identify genetic variants that lead to disease, 2) understand the cell biological mechanisms that lead to arteriovenous malformations, and 3) use gene editing as a curative therapy for nasal and GI bleeding in HHT patients.
