My area of research interest is hemostasis and thrombosis. I am particularly interested in the proteins constituted the coagulation cascade. My work thus far has been aiming at: 1- Understanding coagulation proteins (and their interactions) at a structural level, 2- Translating the structural information into solving the enigma behind certain pathologic states like thrombosis and hereditary angioedema, and 3- Developing better therapeutic modalities.
