Dr. Kaufman is a clinical neuropsychologist whose research focuses on cognitive and affective psychophysiology, using high-density EEG and fMRI methods to better understand brain-behavior relationships. Primary research questions center on the mechanisms of cognitive and emotional control that are impacted by neuropsychiatric disorders. As such, his clinical populations of interest include dementia, movement disorders, epilepsy, autism, and traumatic brain injury.
