Dr. Nwogu-Onyemkpa’s clinical interests include the integration of palliative care in the management of advanced heart failure and sickle cell disease. Her current research explores the impact of incorporating palliative care into sickle cell disease management using both qualitative and quantitative methods. She is particularly focused on identifying palliative care models tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals with sickle cell disease.
