Washington University in St. Louis (WU)
My research focuses on enhancing clinical care and promoting the health and well-being of individuals, families, and vulnerable populations. I am dedicated to advancing these goals through collaboration, innovation, and service. I have a strong background in leading collaborative, multi-disciplinary research projects and quality improvement initiatives across diverse fields, including pediatrics, emergency medicine, critical care, trauma, global health, infectious disease, neurology, palliative care, and medical education. As the course director of the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Research Associates’ Program (PEMRAP) at Washington University, I provide undergraduate students with valuable exposure to clinical medicine and research, guiding them in patient-oriented research projects at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. My work is driven by addressing the real-world challenges faced by patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
