Harold J. van Bosse, MD

Professor of Orthopaedics

Saint Louis University (SLU)

I am an orthopedic surgeon interested in both arthrogryposis multiplex congenita (AMC) and Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS). I am the medical director for the Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita Support, Inc, the leading arthrogryposis support group globally, for more than a decade. I am also on the Clinical and Scientific Advisory Boards for PWSAUSA and IPWSO, the national and international PWS patient support groups. I have participated in numerous multicentered and international studies for both conditions. My primary focus has been on spine deformities in children with PWS, and hip/knee/foot/spine deformities in AMC.

I am a professor of orthopaedics at St. Louis University and have an active practice at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital.
