My research has developed and deployed systems for precision noninvasive brain stimulation in patients. The treatments are based on focused ultrasonic waves. The developed devices have been used in clinical studies to mitigate symptoms of chronic pain, depression, essential tremor, and opioid addiction. I have also founded a company that conducts pivotal clinical trials using this non-significant risk technology.
