My interests are in neuroimaging and cognitive function in treatment of obesity and metabolic dysfunction. Current projects include a functional magnetic resonance imaging (FMRI) study of reward and cognitive control networks in obese and formerly obese individuals. I am also looking at the role of insulin resistance and obesity on structure and function of working memory networks in middle aged adults with metabolic syndrome. Future projects include an FMRI/ASL study of weight loss in middle-aged adults at risk for cognitive decline.
