Dr. Fleckman’s work centers on the prevention of violence and violence-related harms. Her scholarship is focused on understanding how structural and social conditions play a role in shaping community and family-level violence as well as the development and implementation of successful prevention strategies. She has a particular emphasis on community-partnered research and evaluation, with the goal of strengthening multi-sector collaborations and community organizational capacity to utilize data and best practices.
