My research interests center on elucidating the molecular mechanisms underlying neurological, neuromuscular and neurodegenerative disorders and advancing gene therapy approaches for rare diseases. Through my work, I focus on developing innovative therapeutic strategies that target the root causes of these disorders, aiming to bridge the gap between basic research and clinical application. As a gene therapist and rare disease researcher, I am particularly driven by the urgent need to provide effective treatments for conditions with limited or no therapeutic options. My approach combines rigorous scientific inquiry with translational research, leveraging cutting-edge tools to establish and optimize protocols for therapeutic development. With a strong commitment to collaboration and innovation, my goal is to contribute to the development of transformative therapies that improve patient outcomes and advance the field of neurodegenerative disease research
